My name is Ramsey, but you may call me: The Puzzleboy.
But shut up for a second: up above. You see that? Puzzle Twelve. That means two similar yet very different things.
This is the final puzzle of Series Two of The Puzzleboy. What does that mean for you? We will enshrine our correct answers in The Puzzleboy Pantheon, crown our victors, and immediately start fresh with Series Three with a fresh series leaderboard.
Puzzle Twelve also means we will be celebrating our first full year of The Puzzleboy. That’s crazy. Please excuse us if we do a little bit of self-congratulatory back patting a little later.
But listen: shut up! We’ve got to actually introduce Puzzle Twelve, an enormous opportunity to score a ton of points. Let’s get into it! *blows a C on the pitch pipe* Okay, ready!

The fictional band Jon Bovi had a massive impact on the world of cover bands. The band, as it appeared on Saturday Night Live portrayed by Will Forte and Jason Sudekis, sang inverse versions of Jon Bovi’s hits.
“‘Cause I’m wanted… dead or alive…” became “‘Cause I’m unwanted… alive or dead…” in their capable hands.
In their wake, hundreds of opposite cover bands were launched (just go with it). Today, I am giving you the name of hit songs from various cover bands. Your job is to tell me the name of the band (or artist).
Be careful, though. If I give you the song title “Whitecat,” and you write “The Beatles,” that would be wrong. Their song was “Blackbird.” “Whitecat” was performed by “Bhe Teatles.”
Got it? Okay. Here are 20 opposite songs. For an annoying 0.3 points each, please tell me the name of the opposite band/artist that performed them.
